Thermoforming is a process whereby high-tech machines use flat, extruded rolls of plastic and heated moulds to press the plastic into the shape of the mould, and is a common manufacturing method for many types of plant pot, including our shrub pots. Our shrub pot range includes a series of pot sizes that have dimensions that are shorter and squatter than our container pot range, which are taller and more upright.
Shrub pots are specifically designed for the cultivation of multiple plant species, mainly in the commercial nursery industry, but can just as easily be used by any home grower or plant enthusiast. With excellent drainage and ample space for root development, these lightweight, polypropylene pots are cost effective and perfect for presenting plants in a professional way, making them ideally suited for use in the nursery industry. For home growers too, they are affordable, practical and easy to use.
Available in the four size options of 17 cm, 19 cm, 21 cm and 23 cm. All the sizes are sold in bundles of 100 or 500 pots, with the 17 cm also available as a pallet box of 4 674, the 19 cm as a pallet box of 2 940, the 21 cm as a pallet box of 2 625 and the 23 cm as a pallet box of 2 100 pots.
