Thermoforming is a process whereby high-tech machines use flat, extruded rolls of plastic and heated moulds to press the plastic into the shape of the mould, and is a common manufacturing method for many types of plant pot.
Manufactured from polypropylene, Square Thermoformed Pots are lightweight, cost effective and designed to accommodate just about any plant type, while still ensuring optimal drainage and aeration to promote a healthy root system and vigorous plant growth. The chief advantage of square pots is that they can be placed ‘pot to pot’, ensuring optimal usage of available space and making them ideal for high-density plantings in greenhouses, nurseries and grow rooms.
Three sizes are available, 7 cm, 9 cm and 11 cm, all of which come in black. The 7 cm pot is also available in light blue, lime, pink, red and white for anyone wishing to bring a sense of fun and vibrancy into their plant cultivation operations. All three sizes (and all the colours) are sold in bundles of 100 or 500 pots. The 7 cm is also available in cartons of 3 612, the 9 cm in cartons of 1 232 and the 11 cm in cartons of 1 240 pots.
